Great Plains Rifle - SOLD!

After many requests, I have a couple of these popular rifles on the way. Reserve one now. They always sell fast!

This is a slightly used .50 cal Lyman Great Plains Rifle in great condition. Stocked in walnut, trimmed in iron furniture, the Lyman Great Plains Rifle features a hooked breech, two wedge keys, double set triggers, adjustable rear sight, and 32" barrel.

Based on the original Hawken plains rifle, the Lyman Great Plains Rifle has improved design features, with modern improvements inside the lock, and an attractive price. The Great Plains Rifle is a good value for the big game hunter or serious shooter.

The lock plate and cock are color case hardened, in muted mottled colors. The picture dosn't do this rifle justice. It has nice wood with deep reddish brown tones and nice dark blue steel. It shows no handling marks except for the face of the frizzen, which shows very few marks from the less than 50 shots fired.

The hooked breech is easily dismounted for cleaning. Double lever set triggers are perfectly adjusted, to allow the lock to be cocked, or the hammer to be set, in any sequence. Comes with the factory box and paperwork/owners manual.

Very unique! A rather nice side by side double barrel percussion pistol. Measures aprox. 13" in length, smoothbore barrels measure 6.5", bores aprox. .58". Locks are not marked, however the nicely etched barrels have Belgian proofs. A well made example containing a percussion cap storage compartment in butt cap with a flip lid. This gun is heavy and well made and has served someone well for many years, as is evident by the honest wear that the gun displays. Stock is solid and well fit with fine checkering. Nice damascuss barrels show beautiful swirls and light texture not seen in these photos. No surface pitting or major damage. Right hammer appears to be an old replacement and looks good to gun, ramrod is probably a replacement, but also looks good on the gun. Right side lock dosn't hold half cock if trigger is pulled. A quality made pistol with nice fit and finish. Bores have some pitting near the breeches, but seem solid. This could be a shooter with a gunsmith's approval, or would make an awesome coffee table conversation piece. Antique - ships right to you, no PAL needed. Buyer must be 18+, and I will ask for a photo copy of ID and a statement saying you take responsibility for your own actions should you choose to shoot this piece.

Smith and Wesson First Model DA .44 Russian - Sold!

 Rare Smith and Wesson .44 Double Action (.44 DA). .44 Russian caliber, 4 inch barrel. Finish is an even brown over the entire gun. Gun functions OK in double and single actions modes,  but could use a tune up. Cylinder locks up correctly. Left grip has small piece missing along rear of grip frame a crack diagonally through the center. Right grip is solid and complete. Extractor functions as it should, strong rifling evident throughout the bore. This beautiful antique handgun can be purchased by any adult. I have some .44 Russian brass, dies and a bullet mold. I have been shooting this 130 year old handgun. I also have a great holster that fits this gun. Also included is about 800 - .44 cal wax bullets and 25 - .44 Russian cases modified to shoot them with magnum primers, or a small charge of smokless powder. These are the type of wax bullets used by cowboy action shooters.

FLINTLOCK FOWLER, SMOOTHBORE .62 / 20GA.... SOLD!

Custom built fowler, .62 / 20ga. Sweet, slender and light. It will harvest almost anything at close range. Very fast, reliable ignition from a large Siller lock. It's tall, at 58" OAL with a full length maple stock. Barrel and steel fittings are deep browned. It's fitted with a 'turtle' front sight and has a nice figured maple stock.
It shoots a 325gr ball or shot. It can handle shot loads of 3/4 to 1 5/8ths oz. It will also shoot about 15 - .31 cal buckshot. The 42" barrel is octagon changing to tapered round w/ a wedding band at the transition. If you plan on owning one good muzzleloader this would be a good choice, as it can be used for everything from clay birds to big game. Comes with accessories - .60 balls, .31 cal buckshot, #7.5 shot, wads, extra flints, loading block, powder measure and more. Everything needed to shoot except black powder.

AK 47 PAINTBALL GUN

This AK style paintball gun is built for military training. Uses real AK WOODEN stocks and other parts such as sights and (fake) mag. Weight and balance is similiar to a real AK.
